The tutoring industry is a quickly growing field, but typically it is fragmented with individual tutors teaching out of their homes. Also, with the technology, VOIP or voice over Internet protocol can be used or a conference bridge can be used for a richer voice experience. With the VOIP, both the student and teacher require a microphone and speakers.
With university admission requirements getting tougher and tougher, demands upon students to make better grades or score higher on their SAT or ACT tests is increasing every year. In order to improve these measurements, students are studying longer and using more tutors to assist them in difficult courses or in preparation of the SAT/ACT tests.
